SCD DIGITAL LOOKBOOK

Welcome

Introduction & Overview

This is an internal resource to support the involvement of the Sickle Cell Ambassador Program within Pfizer events and activities. A patient lookbook serves as a foundational tool to introduce and humanize the patient experience. It provides a thoughtfully curated collection of patient stories, photos, and background details that highlight lived experiences, challenges, and perspectives.

What’s Included in this Resource

This lookbook provides an overview for each Sickle Cell Ambassador. You will find the necessary information to engage them for an event, program, or project. Each Ambassador profile includes their location, key themes of their story, and a brief synopsis of their sickle cell disease journey.

The objective of the Ambassador Program is to elevate the Sickle Cell Ambassador voice with real stories from warriors and caregivers to promote inspiration and activation.

When it comes to live events, having a Sickle Cell Disease Ambassador present their story allows for the cultivation of excitement with a patient-centric tone. Hearing patients’ stories in their unique voices serves to unite and inspire listeners. The goal of these initiatives should be to empower other patients, caregivers, and warriors on their path to self-advocacy, support, and community.

Approved Engagements
